we're too old to go to snoqualmie falls
lately my last nights in town have been getting better and better.
yesterday started out good with a 4 pm lunch with buzzo at flore. and then a stop by le pink. the sky was getting super hazy from the fires and the air a little hard to breathe.
the le pink window is amazingly creepy. i don't think laura intended for it to be the perfect halloween window display.
then just a few hours after lunch Anh took me to a ramen place in little tokyo that i had never been too. i thought i wasn't hungry but this place smelled so good next thing i know i ate a giant bowl of ramen. the secret is that they boil pig bones in their broth for 24 hours. so good! so good i didn't even take any photos. but good enough that someone else did and put it up on the internet where i stole it.... it felt like tokyo in there. even down to the waiter saying "sumimasen" like 100 times. and that is a whole egg floating in there.
i wish i was there again tonight. tonight i had pretzels.
and then after dinner i raced up to the echo to see the cave singers! so awesome. i love their record. i love those guys. i've known derrick for like 10 years. and now i know so many of his other old friends. that it's a total friendship party when people like him come to town. i mean it's totally gay.... but when i walked in there last night and saw cali, arlie, ingrid, jessie and leona and derrick on stage well, i was happy.
here's to last days.

Um, when I told you to take that pic of laura's window for my blog- I meant I wanted to post about it. Looks like you just pulled a thorpe on me. It's ok man, I'll let it slide since we had such a nice day. when are you coming back?
